Would you like to register as an expert centre for management of rare diseases on Orphanet?

Registering your Irish expert centre on Orphanet is an essential first step for joining a European Reference Network for Rare Diseases (ERN).  Learn more about ERNs here.

Learn more about the process of registering your Irish expert centre on Orphanet here.

An example of a completed Orphanet Quality Form for expert centres can be viewed here.

You can download a Word version of the Orphanet Quality Form here in the 'Supporting Documents' section, or the questions appear for completion during online Orphanet expert centre registration.

The Orphanet Quality Form is reviewed by validators to ensure it meets national criteria for multidisciplinary care of rare diseases.  Find out which criteria are manadatory and which are recommended here.

Please contact us at orphanet.ireland@mater.ie for assistance completing the quality questionnaire and defining the rare diseases that you manage.
